As per TSBIE, the overall pass percentage for 1st year is 67.4% while pass percentage is 51.7% for the 2nd year. TS Inter Supplementary Exams 2025: Summary
The TS Inter Supplementary Exams 2025 were made for the purpose of helping students who could not clear one or two subjects in the TS Inter main exams which were held from March 5 to March 25 of 2025. The supplementary exams were held according to a two shift schedule where first year exams were held between the 9 AM to 12 PM shift, while the second set of exams were held in the 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM stop. The examinations began with Language Paper I on May 22 and concluded with Modern Languages and Geography on May 29.
In 2024, this year’s supplementary exams had a record with over 3.9 Lakh students participating in the original TS Inter exams. This year’s supplementary exams had an equivalent number of students participating, as well. The supplementary exams were intended to give students a second chance at saving an academic year and clearing the subjects they need to complete their TS Inter Diploma.
Pass Marks Criteria and What Happens Next
To pass the TS Inter Supplementary Exams 2025, students must score a minimum of 35% marks in each subject (or 25% for a candidate who is visually impaired or hearing disabled in accordance with the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016,and have an overall 350 out of 1000 marks. Those students who pass can move forward with their applications for higher education, while students who have still not passed can apply for certifications for revaluation, or they can prepare for the next supplementary cycle.
Students applying for recounting or for revaluation, can also submit their applications through their respective schools, to the TS Inter Board, with a fee of Rs. 1000 per subject.
